What's inside the planner

Guest list
One row per family or invitation: the name as it should appear on the invitation, the name in Arabic, a WhatsApp number, how many seats, which side, and the invitation language. Dropdowns keep Bride/Groom and the languages consistent.
Summary
Invitations, total guests, the bride's side and the groom's side, invitations by language, and which families are missing a WhatsApp number.
How to use
Short instructions in English and Arabic, with one example family filled in.

Built for how we actually invite

Most guest list templates are made for one guest per line. That's not how a Lebanese wedding works. You invite the Haddads, all four of them, and the invitation says so. Counting families and seats separately is what stops the classic mistake: a list of 180 names that turns out to be 260 people on the night.

From your spreadsheet to your invitations, in one upload

When you book Cedar Invites, you don't retype a single name. Upload this same file in your dashboard and every family arrives with its seats, its side and its language. Each one gets its own invitation link, with its name on it, sent on WhatsApp. Replies come back into the same list with RSVP tracking, and when you're ready to seat everyone, floor planning and the seat finder take it from there.

Frequently asked

Is the guest list template really free?

Yes. No email, no sign-up. Download it and it's yours, whether or not you ever book Cedar Invites.

Does it work in Google Sheets?

Yes. Upload it to Google Drive and open it with Google Sheets. If you later upload it to Cedar Invites, download it from Sheets as a Microsoft Excel (.xlsx) file first.

Why one row per family and not one row per guest?

Because that's how invitations go out at most Lebanese and Arab weddings: one invitation to "Mr. & Mrs. Haddad & Family", covering a number of seats. One row per family gives you both numbers you need: how many invitations to send, and how many chairs to set.

Can I write guests' names in Arabic?

Yes. There is a column for the name in Arabic, and you choose each family's invitation language: English, French or Arabic.

I already started my list somewhere else. Can I use it?

Yes. Paste your names, numbers and seats into the matching columns of the Guest list sheet. Keep the column titles as they are: that's what lets the file upload to Cedar in one step.

What happens to the list when I book Cedar Invites?

You upload the same file in your dashboard, under Guests Bulk upload. Every family arrives with its seats, side and language, and you review them before anything is saved.

Your list is ready. Your invitations can be too.
